Enfinity selects Satcon for PV solar farm in France(20/08/2010)
Satcon Technology Corporation® have been selected by Enfinity® for two power stations at one of France’s largest PV solar farm in Les Mees, Alpes-Haute-Provence. Upon completion, the two sites will produce approximately 23,400,000 kilowatt hours of power, the energy production equivalent to supply over 10,500 families. The 9.1 megawatt First Light installation is located on approximately 90 acres of land in Stone Mills, Ontario, and is projected to generate more than 10 million kilowatt hours (kWhs), enough electricity to power almost 1,000 homes in its first year of operation.
