University of California: SANYO and the University of California collaborate on research for the next generation of solar energy systems and energy management

The SANYO Electric Group and the University of California, San Diego have announced a research collaboration agreement designed to lead to the next generation of solar energy systems and energy management. Umwelt-Sonne-Energie GmbH (USE Projects) has completed the largest collective Solyndra project to date. The project consists of 1.9 MWp of generation capability installed on 10 rooftop sites in Belgium owned by a large international food retailer.
