Element Power has successfully secured a €18.5m debt facility for its 3.51MW PV solar project in Alicante, Spain. The 17-year facility was provided by Triodos Bank following Element Power’s acquisition of the project, which commenced operations in August 2008. The project, built by Siliken Energy and comprising Siliken crystalline modules, generates clean renewable power under the Feed In Tariff governed by Spain’s Royal Decree 661/2007.

S&C Electric Company has been awarded a contract to perform engineering services for one of the largest solar plants in the world, Calico Solar.
